TTD opens separate token counters for Aged and PHC

To ensure more comfortable darshan to aged and physically challenged category pilgrims, TTD has opened new token counters in Tirumala opposite SV Museum in Tirumala on Wednesday.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who took part in this inauguration, speaking to media persons said, that every day about 1500 pilgrims falling in this category will be provided darshan in two slots. “To avoid the complaints of long waiting hours and to ensure them better darshan, we have started token counters today. For the afternoon slot darshan also, the tokens will be given in the morning itself so that the old aged and physically challenged people have no need to wait for long hours. We have also made some improvements in their waiting hall in south mada street. The seating capacity has also increased recently under the instructions of TTD EO Sri AK Singhal”, he maintained.
