After his monthly interactive program of Dial Your EO with the devotees through over on tele conferencing, the TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal spoke to media persons at the Annamaiah Bhavan. In January last year, 20.70 lakh devotees visited Tirumala shrine and in January this year, 20.97 lakh devotees had darshan of the lord.
Laddu Prasadam
In January last year we distributed 85.57 lakh laddus to devotees, this year we distributed 87.49 lakh laddus to pilgrims. More than 1.92 laddus were added.
Hair Offerings
In January last year, 7.92 lakh devotees offered their hair to Lord Venkateswara. This year 7.95 lakh pilgrims offered thier hair in January. In addition, 3,410 people donated hair.
