A host of VIP’s have visited Tirumala hill shrine on Friday. Those who visited the hill shrine include Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganadham, Government VIP Meda Mallikarjun, Telangana MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Ongole MLC Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, MLC Narayana Reddy, MLC Beeda Ravichandra, Gudur MLA Sunil, Venkatagiri MLA Ramakrishna had darshan of the diety during VIP break. After darshan temple preists offered Laddu prasadam to the VIP’s at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Later speaking to mediapersons outside the temple, Telangana MLC Ponguleti lashes out against Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MP Kanimozhi for her alleged atheist remarks against Tirumala hill shrine. Kanimozhi stated that Tirumala is a commercial centre, where anything can be bought with money. Further, she went on stating that every individual is not the same for God, as the darshan is dependant on the financial capacity of a devotee.
He alleged that her remarks had hurt religious sentiments, and people who speak against religious beliefs are anti-social. Ponguleti demanded Kanimozhi to withdraw her words and say sorry to TTD and Lord Venkateswara devotees. He also warned to file complaint against her if she wont withdraw her severe comments.
