Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams have approached AP Finance Minsiter Yanamala Ramakrishnudu for a reduction in the 18 per cent GST rate, for the purchase of raw material that will be used in making of Laddu prasadam. TTD sought reduction of service tax on the rents of cottages, rooms, guesthouses and for the revenue through sale of human hair through e-auction. Yanamala assured that AP Government will send a letter to the GST Council regarding the tax reduction.
