TTD officials on Saturday started safety measures on ghat roads. Taking advice from IIT professors, TTD engineering wing officials visited the vulnerable site where boulders and trees had fallen in the second Ghat road due to cyclonic rains few days ago. Mumbai based Pvt company identified five major vulnerable places and 20 very minor risky areas where there is scope of Boulder. According to the reports, TTD gave the contract of fencing Five areas of second ghat road to Indore based Fero concrete technologies for Rs 80 lakhs.
