GARUDALWAR BIDS ADIEU TO ALL DEITIES

The annual Brahmotsavam at Sri Vari temple came to a grand close with the `Dhwaja avarohanam’ observed inside Dhwaja Mandapam on Sunday evening.

Earlier processional diety of Lord Malayappaswamy along with His consorts were taken out in procession on gold tiruchi around four mada streets.

GARUDALWAR BIDS ADIEU TO ALL DEITIES

The Dhwajavarohanam marked the thanks giving gesture by Garudalwar, who bids adieu to all deities who participated in the nine day celestial even of Srivari Brahmotsavams in a ceremonial way.

GARUDA PATAKA LOWERED

The temple priests chanted the Vedic hymns and special Puja was performed to Dhwajasthambham, the temple pillar where the “Garuda Pataka” was hoisted on the first day of brahmotsavam.

SAPTA MANTRAS RECITED

Garuda Dhyanam, Bheri Puja, Bheri Tadanam, Garuda Gadyam, Dikpalaka Gadyam, Garuda Lagnastakam and Garuda Choornika, a total of seven mantras recited while lowering the Garuda Pataka on Sunday evening.
