The hill temple of Tirumala sparkled in the twilight of ghee lit lamps on Wednesday evening on the auspicious day of Karthika Parva Deepotsavam which was observed in the temple with religious fervour.
The celestial annual fete was observed in the evening between 6pm and 8pm. The entire premises of temple illuminated in the brightness of hundreds of ghee lit lamps.
Later TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and CVSO Sri Gopinath Jetty and other officials carried huge ghee lamps in “Mookullu”, special mud pots and lit the lamps in all the sub-temples inside the temple and also across the four mada streets and finally at Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple.
