DARSHAN RESUMES AT TIRUMALA TEMPLE FOR PILGRIMS AFTER 82 DAYS

Darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala temple resumed after 82 days today morning atop the Tirumala hills. Pilgrims express immense satisfaction over the arrangements.

“My life sanctified today. I never had such a peaceful darshan in the last two decades. That is the grace of Perumal. Though He put all of us on litmus test by not giving darshan for over 80 days, the darshan I had today was never before. Kudos to the arrangements made by TTD management. Starting from Alipiri checking point, Kalyanakatta, Reception, entering into the queue lines, inside the sanctum sanctorum, Annaprasadam Complex, Laddu Counters, TTD took all precautions and followed COVID guidelines. It is now the turn of all of us (pilgrims) to cooperate with the management and ensure following all the guidelines to have hassle free darshan”, said an elated Saravana Babu from Tamilnadu.

Smt. Lakshmi from Sunnapuveedhi in Tirupati busted out in tears of joy saying that, “I am a resident of Tirupati and I often come for darshan of lord. In all these years, I never had the experience to have His darshan this peaceful. I took the free darshan token along with my husband yesterday at Tirupati. Thanks to TTD for the impeccable arrangements”, she said.

Meanwhile, TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy lauded the efforts of TTD mandarins in making the arrangements for the pilgrims. Our officials worked day and night to come out with a pucca plan and executed it with perfection with the team work of all departments both at Tirumala and in Tirupati”, he added.
