A baby boy aged 1 year 4 months has been allegedly kidnapped by an unidentified man from the Tirumala temple premises on Friday.
According to the police, the couple from Authur district in Maharashtra state came to Tirumala to have darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. The couple and their children had darshan of Lord Balaji, and the mother fed the child before they all slept. When the couple woke up early on
Wednesday morning, they found the baby missing from his mother’s lap. The incident happened near PAC-II Madhavanilayam. The act was caught on CCTV camera installed in the premises.
The police released surveillance footage Friday of the man suspected of kidnapping the child.
