Aswa Vahana Seva observed with religious fervour

Lord Malayappa Swamy portrayed Kalki Avatara on the Aswa Vahana Seva observed on the eighth day evening in Tirumala on Monday.

During the nine-day brahmotsavams, Lord has taken a ride on 16 different carriers (including Swarna Ratham and Maha Ratham). The vahana sevas has come to an end with Aswa Vahanam.

The significance of Aswa Vahanam is Horse is known for its speed. On the speeding divine horse, the Ucchaishrava, Sri Malayappa in the guise of Kalki, holding the sword in one hand, marched along the four Mada streets to bless His devotees. This implies, the Lord will save the world from the evil forces.
