nThe 515th Death Anniversary of Saint Poet Tallapaka Annamacharya was observed with spiritual fervour in Tirumala Narayanagiri Gardens on Wednesday night.
The 46th Pontiff of Ahobilam Mutt Sriman Srivan Mahadesikan Swamiji who graced the occasion in his address said that Sri Annamacharya took Mantropadesa from Ahobila Ugranarasimha Swamy. The 32000 sankeertans are a result of the 32 Beejakshari Mantra. I appreciate TTD for organising this fete every year”, he added.
Later JEO Tirumala, Sri.KS Sreenivasa Raju said, Unjal seva of deities is performed every year on Annamaiah Vardhanti. Hundreds of artistes from Annamacharya project have presented Sapthagiri Sankeertans in a melodious manner. In future we will observe this fete with more vigour”, he maintained.
