Twelve member gang held for selling Laddus in Tirumala

Vigilance officials of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) busted a laddu racket by arresting 12 people from Tamil Nadu. The gang led by Rangasamy used to enter the Q complex as pilgrims to get Laddu Tokens. After Darshan they will get laddus from counters and were selling those Laddus from Rs 60 to Rs 70 to the devotees in block.

The vigilance officials said Rangasamy promised to give 15 Rs for each laddu to the gang. But from some time, he is not giving the money to them and if any gang member asked for the payment, he will threaten to beat him up. Fed up of with his behaviour, Sivakumar becomes an approver and leaked the details to Vigilance slueths.
