TTD presents Silks to Tiruttani Temple

On the auspicious occasion of Adikrittika, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal has offered silk vastrams to the presiding deity of Sri Tanikesan at Tiruttani in Tamilnadu on Friday.

The famous shrine of Lord Sri Subrahmanya Swamy located in Tamilnadu is one of the most important pilgrim centres dedicated to the Lord.

Speaking on this occasion, TTD EO said, the Lord as Tanikesan draws lakhs of pilgrims every year especially on the day of Adikrittika. TTD has been offering vastrams to the deity since 2006 and I am fortunate to offer the same for the fourth consecutive year. Our team of officers including Tirumala Special Officer Sri AV Dharma Reddy has come here to present the Pattu Vastrams to Sri Tanikesan on behalf of Lord Venkateswara”, he added.

Earlier on their arrival, TTD offocers were given warm reception by the District Collector Smt Mageswari Ravikumar, Fit person Sri Jayashankar, Temple In-charge EO and Joint Commissioner Sri Gyanasekaran. Later they had darshan of the main deity.
