The pleasant evening witnessed Lord in Sri Rama Avatar accompanied by Goddess Sita, Sri Lakshmana Swamy and Sri Anjaneya Swamy on either side. The deities took three rounds on the finely decked float in the sacred waters of Swamy Pushkarini.
Tirumala Pedda Jiyar Swamy, EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Dy EO Sri Harindranath were also present
On Day-2 the float with Rukmini and Sri Krishna will take three rounds and on Day-3 Feb.27, the float carrying Sri Malayappaswamy with Sri Bhudevi and Sri Sridevi will take three rounds. On Day-4 and Day-5 of the Teppotsavam on Feb 28 and 29th, the float with Sri Malayappaswamy and his consorts will take five rounds and seven rounds respectively.
In view of the celestial festival, the Vasantotsavam scheduled on Feb.25,26th and, Sahasra Deepalankara seva on Feb.27,28th and Arjita Brahmotsavam, Vasantotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara seva on March 1st has been canceled.
