Snapana Thirumanjanam performed with religious fervour

As a part of the three day annual Jyestabhishekaam in Tirumala temple, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities on Sunday.

Of the Pancha Beras of Lord Venkateswara, the processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy is considered as Utsava Beram. As this idol was found in deep forest of Seshachala ranges, it is also revered as Sri Malaya Kuniya Ninra Perumal as per the available inscription belonging to 1339AD.
