The celestial annual fete was observed in the evening between 6pm and 8pm. The entire premises of temple illuminated in the brightness of hundreds of ghee lit lamps.
Later TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna and other officials carried huge ghee lamps in “Mookullu”, special mud pots and lit the lamps in all the sub-temples inside the temple and also across the four mada streets and finally at Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple.
HH Sri Pedda Jiyangar Swamy, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Peishkar Sri Ramesh, Parpathyedar Sri Ramachandra also graced the occasion.
