Senior IAS officer and former TTD EO LV Subramanyam on friday visited tirumala to offer his prayers to Lord Venkateswara. He came to the hill shrine through footpath after the high court acquitted him in the Emaar scam case that emerged during the regime of YS Rajasekhara Reddy in undivided AP.
Subrahmanyam was APIIC’s vice-chairman and managing director between September 2003 and May 2005. The CBI had charged Mr Subrahmanyam with extending undue favours to Emaar Properties while allotting the company la-nd during the tenure of the Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy government regime as the then head the APIIC.
