EO treks Alipiri footpath, assures to increase greenary

The devotees will soon experience a “Green Carpet Welcome” while trekking the Alipiri and Srivarimettu footpath routes, as TTD has mulled development of greenery on either sides of the footpaths.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal inspected the Alipiri footpath route by trekking down the Soapana Margam from Tirumala on Wednesday. The DFO Sri Phani Kumar Naidu explained him about the various varieties of creepers, aromatic and flowering species which are planted on either side of the footpath.

Later speaking to media persons, the EO said, in the next six months to one year, the devotees will experience an aesthetic feeling with this plantation programme. The waste water is being treated and supplied through pipes for watering the plants in footpath routes. All along Srivari Mettu footpath route also we are planning similar plantation program”, he added.

Adding further the EO said, wherever there are open spaces, be it Tirumala, Tirupati or at Vontimitta, Kurukshetra, we develop greenery. The EO complimented DFO, FROs for producing good results within three months of review meeting without seeking additional manpower.

The EO also inspected Divya Darshan token counters, Global Hospital Services in Galigopuram. Later he interacted with some pilgrims also.

Earlier, the EO inspected Tiruvenkatapatham Outer Ring Road along with CVSO In-charge Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, SE 2 Sri Ramachandra Reddy and other officers.
