The EO instructed the Head of the Procurement wing Sri Subramanyam and Health Officer Dr Sermista to strictly follow the prescribed norms of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) and Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) while procuring the commodities including dry grapes, dry chillies, cardomom, BG dal, turmeric powder, mustard seeds, tamarind etc.
“We should go for the finesse of the commodities to enhance the taste of both religious and anna prasadams”, he maintained.
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, FACAO Sri O Balaji were also present.
