Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa has visited famous hill shrine Tirumala to seek divine blessings of Lord Venkateswara. Accompanied by his family, Chinnarajappa participated in Abhisheka Seva and offered his prayers to the deity. After darshan, TTD officials offered him Holy water and Laddu Prasadam at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Speaking to mediapersons outside temple Rajappa expressed serious concern over incidents of suicides by students of private educational institutions. The TDP leader said many students committed suicide due to the pressure of studies in corporate colleges and schools and other institutions.
