AP Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas on Tuesday visited Tirumala hill shrine and offered his prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Srinivas had darshan of the deity during VIP break. After darshan, temple priests gave vedasirvachanam and presented Laddu prasadam and holy water at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later speaking to reporters outside, the minister said that the central and state governments are working for the welfare of the people only. When reporters questioned over injustice to AP in the budget, Kamineni said he won’t talk politics in temple premises. The minister attended the meeting of the governing council of Srivenkeswara Medical College, Tirupati.
