Vaikhanasa Agama Advisory meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday.
The five member Agama advisors comprising Sri NAK Sunderavadanachrayulu, Sri A Venugopala Deekshitulu, Sri NV Mohanarangacharyulu, Sri AT Anantasayana Deekshitulu and Sri PSSR Jagannadhacharyulu took part in this meeting.
They thanked TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju for successfully conducting Astabandhana Balalaya Mahasamprokshanam in the month of August last year. They made some suggestions to the TTD mandarins in the meeting. Some excerpts:
- To publish a book on the entire procedure and process in which Astabandhanam was performed in Srivari temple so that it will act as a guide to other temples in future
- Since Marichi Vimanarchana Kalpam, the guide to all rituals is in Devanagari script, it is to be translated in to Telugu
- Construction of Radha Mandapam in Tirumala
- Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Varahaswamy temple from April 22 till April 27.
Bokkasam In-charge Sri Gururaja Rao, Temple OSD Sri P Seshadri were also present.
