On the 8th day of the annual Brahmotsavams, Malayappa Swamy enthralls pilgrims with Ratharohanam. Thousands of devotees participated in the Rathothsavam’ as part of the Saalakatla Brahmotsavams at the hill shrine Tirumala on Saturday. They enthusiastically dragged the flower-decked wooden chariot, with the presiding deity, Malayappa Swamy, seated in it, through the four Mada streets around the Pushkarini (temple tank).
