Malayappaswamy took a Celestial ride on Chinna Sesha Vahanam

On the second day morning on Thursday, as a part of the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams, Sri Malayappaswamy took out a Celestial ride on Chinna Sesha Vahanam on the mada streets and mused the devotees who had gathered in the galleries in huge numbers to witness the seva.

The procession of Lord Malayappaswamy with His consorts was a grand feast for devotees with the cultural teams putting up an energetic showcase of devotional extravaganza. Sri Malayappa, donning the role of Sri Krishna, rode the five-hooded golden vahanam in all his majesty.

It is widely believed that a divine glimpse of the Lord on Chinna Sesha Vahanam, who according to mythology is none other than the King serpent Vasuki, enlightens the devout about the importance of the hidden Kundalini energy embedded in every person.
